CBS has announced the next episode of The Big Bang Theory, 5.19 The Weekend Vortex, which will air March 8th. Kevin Sussman reprises his role as Stuart in the episode.

Here's something to get your electrons charged: Raj (Kunal Nayyar) is finally getting a girlfriend! Before you start to dial your mom with the good news, we should probably admit that Lakshmi is just a friend who just so happens to be a girl. (Bazinga!) But this is definitely progress for our favorite astrophysicist, because last we checked he still needs a drink in hand before he can utter two words to a woman.

'The Big Bang Theory' Season 5 Spoilers: A New Woman in Raj's Life
Something that is not at all a secret on The Big Bang Theory is that Raj can't speak to women unless he's drunk. What happens when his parents have someone in mind for him?

Big Bang Theory Season 5 Spoilers

According to TV Guide, "Raj's parents are hoping for an arranged marriage. Fortunately, Raj and his folks' chosen daughter-in-law have something in common: They both like women." Oh well, unfortunately it doesn't sound like this one's going to work out for Raj. Will Raj one day find a woman he can talk to without being drunk around her? Could this girl at least be of some help to Raj and help him get over that, or will it not even matter since she's not interested at all? Will they tell Raj's parents why it's not going to work out, or will they come up with some convoluted reason that will eventually lead to the real reason being revealed?

The rest of the Big Bang Theory guys are in relationships of some sort. Howard's engaged, Leonard and Penny are figuring things out, and there's Sheldon and Amy's arrangement. After all this time, it does seem like Raj deserves to have someone too, and perhaps he'll find a girl who's right for him and who can help him get over talking to women—or at least her—without needing to drink. At this point it does seem to be his turn for that, and as much fun as it is to watch Raj immediately shut up around women, it could be fun to see what happens if he slowly gets over that and learns to talk around them. Even if he doesn't, there has to be a girl out there that's right for him.
